1 First Name: vee Location: Hong Kong Audi Model:: A6 2.8 Audi Year: 2010 Posted April 12, 2022 (edited) I am restoring an Audi A6. Both head lights did not work. Removed them and stripped them to find all the internal cabling gutted. The HID controllers had signs of water damage.
I had the problem with the right turn signal and headlights, but not the interior lights. The problem was in one of the fuses located under the steering wheel- need to take the whole under-assembly apart to get to it. Not very hard. But after I replaced the blown fuse and HID LIGHT, fuse blew again. 11K views 3 years ago #AudiA6 #MrCarMAN. On this video, I am going to be sharing with you on how to change the headlight ballast on your Audi. If your headlight is not working, this might Figure 1. You may see this message on your dash. Step 2 - Is it a broken wire? If the adaptive headlights fail to adjust at all, there is a possibility that the one of the wires going to the adaptive headlight motor could have been pinched or torn. The only way to know for sure is to open up the headlight and check.
